Today is #GivingTuesday! Have you supported the Rotary Children’s Christmas Celebration yet?
Next week we will be filling tummies and putting the smile on the faces of over 700 children at an inner-city school. It will be a magical day filled with food, entertainment, fun, and treats. It is our Rotary Club’s largest hands on fundraising project and together we raise the $10,000 needed to operate this event.
We need the help of every Rotarian to make this happen. On Giving Tuesday it is the perfect day to support the Children’s Christmas Celebration. Here is how you can;
- Donate. Visit our website rotaryclubhamilton.ca and get your Virtual Stocking. Every $20 donation feeds 3 children and you get a tax receipt for your charitable donation.
- Sponsor. Why not get family or co-workers together and become an Elf Sponsor? A $250 donation will help feed a class of children, and supply a treat and a new book to each child. Check out the sponsorship package on our website
- Email. Send an email to friends, family, contacts and encourage them to help you support this great cause. Filling tummies and putting the smiles on the faces for over 700 inner city school. It is a feel-good gesture and every donation of $20 gets a tax receipt…. a gift for the donor!
- Share. We will be doing some social media today and the rest of the week. Help spread the information, please like, retweet, share and post your comments.
