The Rotary Club of Hamilton is pleased to share some wonderful news: we have secured a new home for the Christopher Cutler Memorial Little Library!
This week, the Little Library will be removed from its current location at Cathy Wever School and will undergo some refurbishment and renovations before beginning its next chapter.
And the good news is — it isn’t going far!
The new location will be just a short distance from its current home, approximately 25 yards away, to the left of the main entrance of the Pinky Lewis Recreation Centre, located beside Cathy Wever School.
We are extremely pleased to be partnering with the City of Hamilton to make this new location possible and to ensure the Christopher Cutler Memorial Little Library remains right here in the neighbourhood it has served for so many years.

Over the past several months, we have been overwhelmed by the support of Rotarians, neighbours, community members, businesses and organizations who reached out to offer assistance, suggest locations, donate books and, most importantly, express their support for the Little Library and its mission.
Thank you. Your support made a difference.
Our goal has always been simple: to ensure children, youth and families in this neighbourhood continue to have free and barrier-free access to books and literacy resources.
We are excited that the newly refurbished Little Library will be installed at its new home and filled with books in time for the first day of school on September 8th!
Save the Date — October 1st!
The story doesn’t end there. We are planning a Community Literacy Festival and official reopening celebration on October 1st for the Christopher Cutler Memorial Little Library.
There will be more details to come, but we look forward to bringing the community together to celebrate literacy, books and the continuing legacy of this very special Little Library.
The Rotary Club of Hamilton is proud to continue this legacy of putting books into the hands of local children and youth and providing literacy opportunities for families throughout our community.
A new home. A refreshed Little Library. Thousands more books — and many more chapters still to come.
