World Polio Day is October 24, 2022 and the Rotary club of Hamilton has always supported making donations to this eradication of polio.
Rotary is an international humanitarian service organization whose stated purpose is to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian services, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. Rotary has been instrumental in the eradication of polio around the world and continues to fight to have people vaccinated to ensure that polio does not rise once again. On Rotary’s World Polio Day (24 October), Rotarians rededicate themselves to this cause.
Rotary club of Hamilton commitment to eradicated polio
The Rotary Club of Hamilton is dedicated to fighting polio. We have raised money for this cause and have been instrumental in the removal of polio in countries everywhere. Polio is a disease of which once crippled the nations. Today polio is now capable of being controlled however in recent times it has started to pop back up and it is important that we continue to fight to have people vaccinated to ensure that polio does not rise once again.
