District Governor Dave Alexander, a dedicated Rotarian since 2008 and a proud member of the Rotary Club of Welland, has always been passionate about building strong connections within our communities. As part of his vision for 2024/25, Dave is committed to advancing the District Strategic Plan, calling on every Rotarian to embrace innovation, creativity, and inclusivity in their efforts.
This visit is a remarkable opportunity to hear directly from Dave as he inspires us to deepen our engagement with community partners and establish new connections that drive meaningful change.
Celebrating Generosity with the Rotary Forever Fund
In addition to welcoming our District Governor, this meeting will feature a significant highlight: the presentation of a $10,000 donation from the Rotary Forever Fund to the Eva Rothwell Centre.
This donation will support critical repairs to the Larry Paikin Literacy Train and enhance the children and youth programs offered by the Eva Rothwell Centre. As a cornerstone in Hamilton’s Keith Neighbourhood, the centre has a profound impact on empowering local children and families. This contribution demonstrates the Rotary Club of Hamilton’s enduring commitment to fostering education, literacy, and community well-being.
