We need your help to make magic happen for over 750 children! The annual Children’s Christmas Celebration is set for December 15th. This year we have 100 more children than last year as we have a number of new Syrian children. This will be their first Christmas! The magic takes place at Cathy Wever School. The event includes a hot traditional turkey lunch (mash potatoes, stuffing & cranberries) for all 750 children. We also present each student with a new book and each class receives a gift basket full of items to use in the classroom. It is a truly magical day filled with music, laughter and full tummies!
We need your help to make the magic happen. We are asking for volunteers to help serve food and help the children with their plates. We have all 750 in the gym at the same time, so we need many volunteers to help with food service. Some of the younger children need help cutting their food up.
