The Board of Directors for the Rotary Club of Hamilton has approved a $1,500 donation to support urgent disaster-recovery efforts in Jamaica following the recent hurricane. This contribution will help provide shelter, supplies, and critical support to communities working to rebuild after devastating loss.
Our Rotary Club has been in contact with local Jamaicans and have selected aid agencies that will assure the funds are on the ground withing days and will reach the most needed areas. The support from our Rotary Club is being matched by the Canadian Government resulting in over $3000 of aid.
