The Rotary Club of Hamilton is honoured to host Councillor Matt Francis, representative of Ward 5 on Hamilton City Council, at our Rotary @ Noon meeting on Thursday, May 22.
Councillor Francis has emerged as a respected voice on Council, advocating for enhanced public safety, community infrastructure, and long-term economic development. His deep commitment to Ward 5 and to Hamilton at large has positioned him as a key contributor to shaping the city’s direction during a time of change and opportunity.
This Rotary session will explore:
- Municipal infrastructure initiatives underway in Ward 5
- Economic development strategies supporting inclusive city growth
- Policy priorities and how they impact Hamilton’s neighbourhoods
- Opportunities for civic collaboration and how Rotary can partner in community advancement
For Rotarians, community leaders, and guests, this is a unique opportunity to hear directly from a municipal decision-maker about current projects and the broader strategic outlook for Hamilton. These insights not only inform our understanding but also help shape how we, as community builders, align Rotary initiatives with municipal priorities.
