Painting is in my blood. I was very fortunate to have grown up working with my dad, who was a British-trained craftsman. From an early age, I was on projects doing coffee runs, filling paint trays, and folding drop sheets. As I got older, I started painting and eventually wallpapering. It was during that time that I developed my love for this trade, and I was on my way to becoming a craftsman.

In 1997, I found myself with an opportunity to head out on my own, which was when I set up DW Painting & Decorating. As family is very important to my wife, Nicole, and I, we decided to name our new business after our two children, Désirée and William.

As the business grew, and my wallpaper knowledge and skills were being recognized, it became very obvious that there was an opportunity to further learn and specialize in wall-covering installation. At that time, we rebranded and changed the company name to DW Painting & Wallpapering. This change brought on a variety of incredible projects and introduced us to many new loyal customers.

Nearly 30 years later, with my team of skilled and dedicated painters, DW Painting & Wallpapering is recognized as one of the premier residential painting and wallpapering companies in the Greater Golden Horseshoe area.
