On June 22nd, our Rotary Club will be holding its Presidential Changeover. This is an annual event where we celebrate the achievements of the Rotary Club and officially install the new president. The presidential changeover is a symbolic event that signifies the Rotary Club’s commitment to continue its work in the coming year.
The Rotary Club of Hamilton has had a busy and productive year, despite the challenges posed by the pandemic. Our Rotary Summer Literacy Program was a huge success, providing free books and lunch to hundreds of children in the park. We were also able to raise funds to provide a Christmas lunch for our community and free after school programs for children and youth. Junior Achievement programming is back in Hamilton thanks to our Rotary Club, and we are so proud of all that we have accomplished this year. Thank you to all our members for their hard work and dedication!

The event will be held at the Royal Hamilton Yacht Club and will feature a celebration BBQ and award presentations. Rotary Club of Hamilton president, Alex Moroz, will be handing over the reins to newly elected president, Cathi MacDonell. Alex has been an active member of the Rotary Club of Hamilton for many years and has served as president for the past year. Cathi MacDonell has been a member of the Rotary Club of Hamilton for many years and is looking forward to her new role as president. The Rotary Club of Hamilton is a service organization that is dedicated to supporting local charities and community initiatives.
Join us as we celebrate the Rotary achievements, enjoy the fellowship of our Club Members, present a Paul Harris Fellowship and conduct the Presidential Changeover.
