It is time we raise a glass! Cheers to Rotary and the great projects and initiatives! It is time to raise a glass to make sure the good work continues. Our largest fundraiser Spring Uncorked takes place on May 5th and we need help in raising the glass.
We need every Rotarian and friends of Rotary to help raise the glass. Spring Uncorked is a fabulous evening featuring 15 local wineries and restaurants. As you taste exquisite foods from some of our best local restaurants, you also fill your wine glass with great wines from Ontario wineries and a few craft breweries too! An evening to enjoy friends, food and wine and you get a tax receipt!
Raising the glass means that all proceeds from this fundraiser help support many local and international projects. Funds from Spring Uncorked help support the Telling Tales Festival – a literacy festival in September for children & families. Proceeds also help send over 1500 inner city children to camp – Rotary Summer Literacy program offers 4 weeks of free camp style literacy programing. Project Muso in Mali mobilizes health care for children preventing malaria and other illnesses reducing the illness and death rates of children.
These great projects are all supported by you Raising the Glass for Rotary. The potential of rasing the needed funds to make sure children get the care and medicine they need, the opportunity for education and to gain literacy skills is only possible if we can Raise the Glass at Spring Uncorked.
If each of us help Raise the Glass for Rotary we can continue to support and help grow many great projects and initiatives…but only if you help Raise the Glass! We also need you to send a few emails and invite friends and family members, buy a few tickets for customers and potential customers. We can Raise the Glass! A chance to make sure that literacy education is available to children, that mosquito nets are provided and that we can continue to help improve the health and education of children….it is possible! Let’s sell out Spring Uncorked. It is easy if each of use bought a ticket and sold a ticket to friends, clients, or coworkers.
On May 5th, let’s Raise the Glass and celebrate the success of our Spring Uncorked Fundraiser, but more important the fact that we have helped improve the lives of children. That is worth Raising the Glass for!
