January with Rotary Club of Hamilton – A Fresh Start to an Inspiring Year!

The Rotary Club of Hamilton welcomes 2025 with open arms and renewed purpose. As we step into the new year, we are reflecting on the incredible achievements of 2024 and setting our sights on making an even greater impact in our community and beyond. With our Rotary @ Noon meetings back in action, January is brimming with opportunities to connect, share, and serve.

Celebrating the Success of 2024

Last year was a banner year for the Rotary Club of Hamilton. From launching the Rotary Children’s Fund to stewarding major community initiatives like the Christmas Tree of Hope and Operation Santa Claus, we brought joy and hope to hundreds of families. Our Summer Literacy Camp, Junior Achievement partnerships, and the launch of the Liberian Learning Centre demonstrated our commitment to literacy, education, and global service.

Rotarians also rolled up their sleeves for local initiatives like park cleanups, bingo days, and the annual Children’s Christmas Celebration, which served over 650 children at Cathy Wever School. These projects reflected our motto, “Service Above Self,” and made a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve.

Resolutions for 2025: Making a Greater Impact

As we step into the new year, let’s adopt Rotary-inspired resolutions that will amplify our impact:

Support Comfort Bears: Help provide comfort to children in need by supporting this program.

Engage with Rotary: Attend more meetings or events and get involved with committees or hands-on projects.

Expand Membership: Invite a friend, family member, or colleague to join Rotary.

Be a Voice for Rotary: Share our projects and initiatives on social media or in your community.

Volunteer and Donate: Support initiatives like the Rotary Sunshine Fund or programs like the Summer Literacy Camp.

Together, these resolutions will ensure that 2025 is a year of transformation for both our club and the communities we serve.
