An evening of haunts, history, and Hamilton hospitality
Step into the shadows of Hamilton’s past with the Rotary Club of Hamilton and Ghost Walks Hamilton for a private walking tour unlike any other.
On Thursday, August 28th, we’ll embark on an 80-minute journey through the city’s historic downtown—where cobblestone alleys, century-old buildings, and chilling true stories still linger. This guided experience uncovers the darker side of Hamilton’s history, blending true crime, local legends, and ghostly tales into an unforgettable evening of discovery and storytelling.
What secrets will you uncover?
- Why Hamilton was once known for its not-so-serious hangings
- The eerie truth behind the Torso Murderess, Evelyn Dick
- The death that captivated a city—Whitehern Mansion’s silent witness
- The rise and fall of Rocco Perri, Canada’s King of the Bootleggers
- And the untold stories that prove Hamilton’s mob town legacy
But the night doesn’t end there! After the tour, join us at a nearby pub to toast to the living. Enjoy a drink, connect with fellow Rotarians and guests, and share your favourite theories over a little Rotary fellowship—no ghosts, just good spirits.
