The Rotary Club of Hamilton has been dedicated to improving the lives of children in our community for over 113 years. One of the ways we do this is through our support of fundraising initiatives like COREKids.ca. This phenomenal program provides inner-city children with the opportunity to achieve a happier and more educational life through various programs and services.
The programs offered by COREKids have been financed by supporters like the Rotary Club of Hamilton, who have contributed to building great self-sufficient charitable operations. Our focus has been on literacy programs in the city, and we’re proud to have contributed to initiatives like Telling Tales, after-school programs, and a summer literacy camp that is available for children for free.
During the winter season, we’ve also contributed to helping over 600 children receive a gift and a warm meal during Christmas. We’re excited to announce the launch of the new COREKids.ca website, where you can find more information on the various programs and initiatives that we’re supporting.
We’ll be highlighting and speaking about more of these programs in the near future. If you know anyone seeking to contribute through volunteering or looking for a part-time position, COREKids is currently hiring, and you can apply on their website.
The Rotary Club of Hamilton is proud to support this endeavor, and we would love to have your help too. You can join our club or become a friend of Rotary by supporting us through financial donations or contributing with your volunteer time to help our inner-city children enjoy a lot of the fun programs they may not normally experience.
Together, we can make a positive impact and help children in our community achieve their full potential. Visit COREKids.ca for more information and join us in our mission to support our community’s youth.
