Celebrate the Season at the Christmas Tree of Hope Lighting!

The sparkle of the holidays returns to downtown Hamilton!

Join us on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 5 PM to 7 PM at Gore Park for the annual Christmas Tree of Hope Lighting Ceremony—a cherished community tradition that unites families, friends, and neighbours in celebration of giving and joy.

This year’s event is proudly presented by the Rotary Club of Hamilton, in partnership with Operation Santa Claus, the Rotary Children’s Fund, the Downtown Hamilton BIA, and the City of Hamilton. Together, we’re continuing the legacy of hope and holiday magic that has brightened our city for generations.

🎙️ Energy 95.3 and Y108 will be on site broadcasting live, adding excitement and festive energy throughout the evening. Guests can enjoy music, giveaways, and the heartwarming moment when the Christmas Tree of Hope lights up the night sky.

But this evening is about more than lights—it’s about giving back. Every donation and toy collected helps local families through Operation Santa Claus, ensuring children in Hamilton experience the joy of the season. With no administration fees, every dollar raised goes directly to those who need it most.

Join us downtown for an unforgettable night of community, compassion, and Christmas spirit. Together, we’ll light up more than just a tree—we’ll light up lives.
