The holiday season is a time for giving, and the Rotary Club of Hamilton is thrilled to bring our community together for Blitz Day in support of the Rotary Christmas Tree of Hope and Operation Santa Claus. This cherished tradition is all about ensuring every child in our community experiences the joy and magic of Christmas.
What is Blitz Day?
Blitz Day, happening on December 7th, is an exciting day where the community gathers to donate unwrapped toys and funds to brighten the holidays for local children in need. Held at Lime Ridge Mall on the second level by the elevators, this event is supported by our friends at Y108 and Energy 95.3.
The event is part of the Rotary Christmas Tree of Hope campaign, which has been lighting up the hearts of Hamiltonians for years. Your contributions during Blitz Day go directly to supporting Operation Santa Claus, a program that ensures toys and gifts are distributed to children in partnership with local charities and organizations.
How Can You Get Involved?
Getting involved is simple:
- Bring an Unwrapped Toy: Drop by Lime Ridge Mall on Blitz Day and bring a new, unwrapped toy.
- Make an Online Donation: Can’t make it in person? You can still make a difference by donating at childrensfund.ca.
Every toy and dollar raised helps spread holiday cheer to families who may be facing tough times.
Why It Matters
