The Hamilton Out of the Cold Program (HOOTC) is a non-profit, non-denominational initiative in Hamilton, Ontario, that provides free hot meals, compassion and community to people experiencing hardship during the cold-weather months. Since that modest beginning (a single meal for one guest), HOOTC has grown significantly. For the 2024-2025 season, for example, they served more than 33,000 hot meals.
Our speaker will be Peter Rosser from the Hamilton Out of the Cold Program who will be providing an update on the program and plans for the 2026 winter.
The Rotary @ Noon Meeting is the Rotary Club of Hamilton’s signature weekly gathering, bringing together members, guests, and community leaders for fellowship, networking, and inspiration. Held at McMaster Innovation Park, these meetings feature engaging guest speakers, club updates, and opportunities to connect with like-minded professionals dedicated to service above self. Each session blends Rotary tradition with modern purpose—celebrating achievements, advancing projects, and fostering collaboration to make a lasting impact in the Hamilton community and beyond.
