Welcome Ann Pope to the Rotary Club of Hamilton!

The Rotary Club of Hamilton is thrilled to welcome Ann Pope, our newest member, whose dedication to service and commitment to making a positive impact aligns perfectly with Rotary’s mission. Ann, a recent Hamilton resident, is a Level 2 Mortgage Agent with Premiere Mortgage Centre, where she’s not only known for her professional acumen but also for her dedication to community upliftment. As a Licensed Director on the Canadian Mortgage Brokers Association – Ontario Board and Chair of its Education Committee, Ann is a passionate advocate for raising industry standards and giving back through fundraising efforts.

Ann brings a wealth of volunteer experience that truly enriches our Rotary community. For years, she has been an active dog foster parent, re-homing eight foster dogs and adopting two with complex medical needs. Her compassion for animals and commitment to fostering highlight her dedication to helping others—be they people or pets. Additionally, Ann’s involvement with SickKids’ Megan’s Walk in honor of her nephew’s life-saving care and her participation in Children’s Wish Foundation’s Rope for Hope exemplify her devotion to causes close to her heart.

Beyond her individual contributions, Ann actively supports community-oriented initiatives like Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build events, where she has been a hands-on participant in creating safe spaces for families in need. Her brokerage also hosts an annual golf tournament benefiting Blue Door and other shelters, showcasing her commitment to ending homelessness and supporting those in transitional periods.

Ann’s desire to join Rotary stems from her deeply rooted value in community service, instilled by her parents. She views Rotary as a valuable avenue to connect with like-minded individuals, grow lasting friendships, and serve her new community with the guidance and structure that Rotary provides. Her involvement will no doubt strengthen our club’s collective impact, bringing fresh perspectives and new ideas to the table. Ann is eager to roll up her sleeves and get involved in our upcoming projects and events, and we are thrilled to have her on board.

Join us in welcoming Ann Pope to the Rotary Club of Hamilton! We’re excited to see the many ways her compassionate spirit and professional experience will help us continue to make a difference.
