Leo Johnson, a member of the Rotary Club of Hamilton, was featured in the rotary magazine discussing his life as a refugee. Leo talks about how he was able to overcome the challenges he faced as a young teenager to become a Canadian strong and rooted. Leo is a rotarian who has served many services in the community. But his primary success has been representing the Rotary Club of Hamilton overseas in Liberia where collaborating with other rotary clubs has managed to build a library over the years. Leo’s story is one of hope and resilience in the face of adversity. It is an example of what can be achieved when we work together towards a common goal. The Rotary Club of Hamilton is proud to have Leo as a member and we are grateful for all that he has done for our club and for the people of Liberia.
