The Rotary Club of Hamilton and Junior Achievement (JA) of South Western Ontario are proud to host this year’s World of Choices Career Exploration Day at McMaster Innovation Park on April 10, 2025.
This event will welcome over 400+ Grade 7 and 8 students from Cathy Wever School and St. Ann Catholic Elementary School, giving them the opportunity to explore a variety of career paths. Students will engage with professionals in trades, public services, and professional industries—including firefighters, EMS, electricians, HVAC specialists, lawyers, and more—to gain valuable insights into future career opportunities.

🎤 Morning Keynote (9:30 AM – 10:15 AM) – Simoni Lawrence
🏈 Former Hamilton Tiger-Cats Linebacker & Community Leader
Simoni Lawrence, one of the most celebrated players in Hamilton Tiger-Cats history, is bringing his leadership and passion to the stage! With multiple CFL All-Star nominations and a legacy of excellence, Simoni has not only dominated on the field but has also made a significant impact in the community. As a brand ambassador, mentor, and advocate for youth, he will share insights on leadership, perseverance, and overcoming obstacles.

🥁 Renowned Steelpan Artist, Entrepreneur & Motivational Speaker
Dejehan Hamilton, better known as Luckystickz, is an internationally recognized musician and the founder of Tune In Foundation and Luckystickz Entertainment Inc. His journey from an emerging artist to an entrepreneur in the music and entertainment industry is nothing short of inspiring. Through his work, he empowers youth to embrace creativity, persistence, and passion in their career paths.
