Rotary Children’s Christmas Celebration is celebrating our 29th year of filling tummies and putting smiles on the faces of over 650 children each year! Our Rotary Club’s largest hands-on service project started over 29 years ago at Robert Land School. Twenty eight years later we are still filling tummies and putting smiles on the faces of over 650 inner city children. We could not have done it without the help and support of our Hamilton Community.

Together we have fed children a traditional Christmas lunch, provided a new book, mitts and hats (toque) and most of all put smiles on their faces. It is a magical day each year, with volunteers, community members and Rotarians making magic happen!

Lighting Up Smiles and Filling Tummies for 650 Inner-City Children in Hamilton

For over 29 years, the Rotary Club of Hamilton has hosted the Rotary Children’s Christmas Celebration—a heartwarming tradition that brings the joy and magic of Christmas to over 650 children from Hamilton’s inner-city schools.

This is more than just a festive meal. It’s a day filled with laughter, music, friendship, and hope. Each child enjoys a traditional Christmas lunch, gifts, books, mittens, and a toque—creating memories that last a lifetime. We are filling tummies and putting smiles of the faces of over 650 children this December!

Your support and sponsorship ensure that every child experiences the magic of the season, receives a nourishing meal, and feels the warmth of our community’s care.

Each Virtual Stocking ($25 Donation) provides lunch, a new book and a gift for two students. You will be recognized at the event and on our website and you also will receive a tax receipt for your donation.
