Presentation title: The evolution of a health care provider: From individual to community to nation state.

Michael will briefly outline his 30-year career trajectory from a nurse on a surgical floor in Vancouver to clinical educator in Africa to nurse practitioner in the Canadian arctic to professor/educator at McMaster University in Global Health. He will highlight the principles and motivations that led him on this path.
