Rotary Summer Literacy Program is back!   The Rotary Club of Hamilton is proud to offer children in Kindergarten to Grade 5 the Rotary Summer Literacy Program.

To celebrate our 22 Anniversary and to be able to offer free, safe programming during the COVID-19 Pandemic, we are changing things up for 2022!

 

July 11 – 15, 2022 and July 18 – 22, 2022

New Location Pauline Johnson School – 25 hummingbird Lane”

Cathy Wever School – free transportation to the program daily

The Rotary Summer Literacy Program, a free program will run for two weeks from Monday July 11th to 22nd, 2022 at Pauline Johnson School (25 Hummingbird Lane) from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm.  

Free transportation will be provided for students at Cathy Wever School.  Bus pick up will take place daily between 8:15 am and 8:25 am and drop off between 12:50 pm and 1:00 pm at Cathy Wever School.  

Program participants will join our staff from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm Monday through Friday. The Rotary Summer Literacy Program focuses on literacy, engaging participants with modeled, shared, guided, and independent reading and writing activities. Our program helps to maintain your child’s literacy skills.  Over the course of a day, your child will also experience various day camp activities through our program options (listed below). Rotary Summer Literacy’s main goal is to ensure educational activities and experiences are fun for everyone!
