People often mistakenly believe that children’s aid societies have a mandate to remove children from their homes; that is why they are reluctant to contact such an organization. In fact, 98% of the children they serve remain in their homes while they work with the families to improve their ability to keep children safe and thriving. CCAS offers a variety of community based programming to serve families and will share some success stories from the programs.
