Our Rotary @ Noon speaker will be Sarah Warry. Sarah is an Addiction Specialist from Hamilton, Ontario. She works providing EAP support and facilitates training for other addiction professionals across Canada. She is the current chair of the board of directors for The Bridge from Prison to Community here in Hamilton
Here topic will focus on addiction (symptoms, personality changes, how it also affects families and the community) and how do we treat it? Her talk will also include on brain changes, how substances and alcohol affect the body and mind, mental health and trauma before and after addiction, and treatment pathways and options.
