We are excited to announce that our next Rotary Club meeting will feature a truly inspiring guest speaker—Maggie John, Executive Director of The Baby Depot. Maggie’s charity has provided over a thousand babies with essential items like clothing, hygiene products, and large necessities such as strollers and high chairs. What started in her basement ten years ago has grown into a beacon of hope for families in need across Hamilton, Ontario. Now, The Baby Depot serves 300 babies annually, offering a full year’s worth of essentials to help parents care for their little ones with dignity.
Beyond her work with The Baby Depot, Maggie is a seasoned journalist with over two decades of experience as a national TV host and reporter. She’s covered major events, from 9/11 to Hurricane Katrina, and even moderated Toronto’s most-viewed mayoral debate in 2023. Maggie’s heart for service and her impressive media career make her the perfect guest to inspire our Rotary community.
