Blitz Day Returns in 2026

Planning is underway for another Blitz Day, and we are getting ready for one more incredible day of giving for Hamilton’s kids. The 2026 date will be announced soon.

Blitz Day is a Rotary tradition that unites our community for a full day of nonstop fundraising in support of local children through the Rotary Children’s Fund. It is a day when every second counts, as local radio hosts broadcast live and rally the city to help children and families in need.

Live from Lime Ridge Mall

Blitz Day broadcasts live from Lime Ridge Mall, with Y108 and Energy 95.3 on air throughout the day. Rotarians, volunteers and radio hosts share stories of how the Rotary Children’s Fund has made a difference in young lives across our city.

What began years ago with Corus Entertainment has grown into one of Hamilton’s most impactful events, and a genuine celebration of generosity and community spirit.

Blitz Day is about more than raising funds. It is about raising hope. Every dollar collected supports local programs providing food, warmth, education and essential resources for children right here in Hamilton and Burlington. When you give, your generosity stays local and changes real lives.
